At the July meeting of the North Carolina State Bar Council, four lawyers, including Essex Richards partner Woody Connette, were presented with the John B. McMillan Distinguished Service Award.
The additional award recipients were Victor Boone of Raleigh, Ashley Hogewood of Charlotte, and Bill Powers of Charlotte.
The award recognizes current and retired members of the North Carolina State Bar who have demonstrated exemplary service to the legal profession.
