Essex Richards is responding to the rapidly changing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic by taking steps to ensure that our firm will continue to provide the timely and quality legal services and advice our clients need and deserve. We take seriously this community’s commitment – and our firm’s responsibility — to fight the spread of this virus while maintaining our high standards of assisting our clients with their legal needs.
Effective March 18, many of our lawyers and staff will be working remotely, outside the office, with the computer and technological capacity to take care of the full range of our clients’ business and personal legal issues. Our physical office will be open on a limited basis to provide critical services as necessary.
Our website provides the email addresses of each of our lawyers. All of our lawyers and staff working remotely will closely monitor their email and voicemail messages during our normal business hours (8:30 AM-5:30 PM, Monday through Friday). If you call our main office line at 704-377-4300, you will be able to leave a message on the direct line of any of our lawyers through our dial-by-name directory or to leave a voicemail in our general mailbox.
While we understand that the current health environment requires unprecedented “physical distancing,” we do not intend to distance ourselves from our clients and their needs, however urgent they may be. We are committed to making ourselves, our legal advice, and our experience available to our clients in a timely manner, despite the challenges of this current medical uncertainty.
Please do not hesitate to contact us, and you can expect a timely response.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
