Louis L. Lesesne Jr. (Retired)

Lou Lesesne was raised in a small town in South Carolina. He graduated from Davidson College in 1967, served three years active duty service in the United States Navy – including a year as an intelligence officer in Vietnam – and graduated from Boston University Law School in 1973. Lou has practiced in Charlotte from 1975 to 2015. In 1981, he founded the firm that became Lesesne & Connette, which merged with Essex Richards in 2005. Lou retired from Essex Richards in 2015 and no longer practices law, but continues to advise the firm and his former colleagues in many ways.
