Essex Richards is proud to announce that attorney Caitlin Walton has been named as the 2020-2021 Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB) Association’s Communications Committee.
The Communications Committee develops the communication process among members of the MCB through publications including the Mecklenburg Bar News, MeckBar.org, Bar Blasts, social media, and the MCB Annual Membership Directory.
Caitlin’s legal practice centers on civil litigation, with an emphasis on ERISA and long-term disability litigation. She is committed to assisting individuals secure the benefits that they have earned. Caitlin handles long and short-term disability insurance claims, health benefit coverage denial claims, life insurance claims, accidental death and dismemberment claims, retirement and pension benefit claims, and other employee benefit matters. She assists individuals at every stage of the claims and appeals process, including the administrative appeal level, as well as the district and appellate court level.
