Essex Richards Attorney Heather Culp has been Named to Top Leadership Positions in Two Legal Associations.

Essex Richards attorney Heather Culp has been named to top leadership positions in two legal associations.
Culp has been elected vice president of the Mecklenburg County Bar.  She has also been named to the Board of Governors for The North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA), the largest voluntary organization for legal professionals in North Carolina.
“I hope to give back to younger lawyers, my profession, and the community,” she says.  “I’ve volunteered with these organizations for several years.  Among the benefits is the great experience of volunteering with some of the best and brightest attorneys throughout the state.”
As vice president of the County Bar, Culp will help develop programming that serves members and the community.  She will also help the Bar support local legal services groups that assist the needy.  The Mecklenburg County Bar serves the public and the Bar members in improving and preserving the administration of justice.
For the NCBA, Culp will help provide leadership and governance.  She will serve on the NCBA Audit & Finance Committee and also on the board of the NCBA’s charitable arm, the NCBA Foundation.  Some 17,000 lawyers, paralegals and law students comprise the growing membership of the NCBA, located in Cary.
