Stephen H. Morris was born in Charleston, West Virginia. He lived briefly in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and moved to Charlotte in 1961. Steve graduated from South Mecklenburg High School, and Received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1973. Steve earned his law degree from UNC in 1976 and began practicing law in Charlotte that year. He is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar and the Charlotte Estate Planning Council. In the North Carolina and American Bar Associations, Steve is a member of the sections on Taxation, Real Property, Corporate, Banking and Business Law and Estate Planning and Probate. He has actively participated in a variety of church, professional and civic activities, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Area Fund and the Charlotte Certified Development Corporation.
Steve practices in the areas of Business and Corporate Matters, Estate Planning and Probate, Commercial Real Estate Transactions and Tax Planning.
Steve and his wife, Nancy have two children.
